I think it would the ultimate showdown..Kinda like Lander vs Outandup...

he will chime in here when he sees it...

It makes no sense why a president can`t do the job for more than 8 yrs. Or at the very least he should be able to re-run after a 4 yr
absence.

I think CLinton would win too...

But LANDER you have to feel that Bush has done a better job than Gore would have, I HOPE...

No. Remember that September 10th were Bush's ALL TIME LOW ratings, and that ANY leader looks great in times of tradgedy.

Case in point - former Mayor Guiliani. I happen to love this man before, but MANY MANY hated him ... after 9/11 he's America's mayor and everyone loves him.

He did his job, as would almost any other official in the same position.

Bush is taking full advantage of 9/11, posing with the army, flying jets, being Mr. Patriotic .... that's all fine and dandy if we need to waste tax money ...

.. what I'm concerned with is the economy & our foreign policy ... both suck right now.

Clinton. Hands down.

1. People long for "the good ol' days"
2. People long for the "good ol' economy"

As they say, nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public, with the support he was able to rally for the war on Iraq (be it through lies or not), I fear that Bush would actually win.

Clintoon would not win again.

Clintoon could run on doing nothing to fight terrorism. The Sudanese offered OBL on a silver platter 3 times and clintoon left his head in the sand. Gave the NK NUKES and BILLIONS. Gave the Chinese NUKE satelite secrets. Did nothing when terrorist killed 17 sailors aboard the USS Cole. Did nothing after the first WTC bombing, the khobar tower bombing, the africa bombings. Clintoon cooked the books and left Bush with a recession that we are finally pulling out of. Oh and lets not forget the pardons of terrorist and other felons just before clintoon left office. clintoon should be in jail.

Clintoon was a complete failure and he's the worst president since jimmy carter.

Lander you know as well as I that Toricelli and the democrats rendered the CIA, FBI and State and local police worthless. It's impossible for them to do the job they have to do with the ACLU dictating policy.

9-11 did occur during the beginning of Bushs term, however, the US was hit early and often thoughout clintoons watch without much done about it. Matter of fact if not for the leftist judges 9-11 could have been prevented, however the FBI was not able to look at ole Zach M's computer, the insanity.

still done under GW's staff.

Stop this nonsense. He or know one from his staff has taken any responsibility for this intelligence screw up.

Maybe if Dubya wasn't busy taking record amounts of "vacation time" he'd have used that first year to defend our country and strength the capacity of the CIA??

Nah, forget it - "intelligence" never was Dubya's forte

This really would only be a dream matchup for those of us on the left.

I'm sure the right is perfectly happy dreaming about the whoever we actually pick.

That said, Clinton would win. Perhaps not in a landslide, but he would win enough states to win. Clinton wouldn't lose Arkansas, or Florida, because the Greens would actually vote for him.

Clinton in a ROUT! that is unless the count was left up to Kathleen (or Katherine - not sure) Harris in Florida - and in that case - Bush would be declared the winner of an election he didn't win - just like in 2000

"Clintoon cooked the books"

Yeah I guess that's how he left behind that government surplus that Bush wasted so fast he almost broke the sound barrior.

"clintoon should be in jail."

Come on Reagan's crimes were far more heinous.

"Clintoon was a complete failure and he's the worst president since jimmy carter."

The correct statement would be, Reagan was the worst president since Nixon.

You can't even compare Bush2 to Clintoon, look what Bush2 has done to the economy and our image as a nation and a people in such a short amount of time.

what about a "who goes down quicker on the chair" contest between the two, the state of texas can provide the equipment, and i know plenty who d gladly offer the beer, cokes, and pop corn.

Should be a riot.
